Welcome to our website!  My name is Bob Holladay, owner/manager of Market Produce.  We are an independent, family owned business.  My staff and I look forward to getting to know you.

Having been born and raised in Central Alberta I am a true 'native' Albertan.  I live in Calgary, Alberta,  home of the Calgary Stampeders.  GO STAMPS GO!!   

Market Produce was established in 1982 and I started here as a produce clerk in 1987.  I was promoted to manager in 1988 and loved the business so much, I purchased the store in 2000.  I enjoy every aspect of this business and am proud to serve the community of Forest Lawn here in Calgary.  We are located on International Avenue, a fitting name since we enjoy serving a wide variety of different cultures and ethnic groups.  
 
We are known for our quality produce and our low, low prices, much lower than the supermarkets and chain stores.   We specialize in fresh produce and like to buy locally as much as possible.  However, we also take pride in the fact that we carry a good inventory in the more exotic fruits and vegetables.  You will often find such tasty treasures as papaya, lychee nuts, mango, star fruit, aloe vera etc.  And, if you can't find something that you want, just ask our friendly, knowledgable staff and we will do our best to bring it in for you.
